April 20, 1967 at Candlestick Park

Giants 7, Cardinals 5  (6-1)

The Cardinals six game winning streak came to an end in pretty much one inning.  Starter Al Jacskon gave up five runs in the second inning and while the Cardinals pulled to within two runs, they couldn’t finish the comeback.

Jackson dropped to 1-1 on the year.  Ron Willis was also hit hard and he was tagged for two runs in 1 2/3 innings of work.  On the hitting side, Lou Brock continued to rake the ball and he hit his sixth homerun of the season.  Tim McCarver drove in two runs while Roger Maris scored twice.
