The Gas House Gang

The Cardinals improved to 12-10 on the spring with a 10-3 win over the Boston Red Sox.  Albert Pujols led the way with a double, three RBIs, two runs and a walk.  Matt Holiday went two for three with two RBIs and a run while David Freese went two for three with a run and an RBI.

Kyle McClellan continued his impressive spring with five shutout innings.  He gave up three hits and three walks with two strikeouts.  Joe Kelly gave up all three runs in his two innings of work and Bryan Augenstein struck out two in a shutout ninth inning.

Chris Carpenter gets the start this afternoon in a game against the Nationals.   Game time is 1:05.
