Bill Sherdel Throws Two Hit Shutout

Cardinals 9, Braves 0  (35-26)

The Cardinals won their sixth straight game behind another nice outing by Bill Sherdel.  This time it was the Braves that he shutout and he gave up only two hits in the game.

Billy Southworth had a big game for the Cardinals.  He went three for five with three runs.  Rogers Hornsby went two for four with a homerun.
