April 22, 1967 at Dodger Stadium

Cardinals 3, Dodgers 1  (7-1)

The Cardinals continued their west coast swing with a tight win over the Dodgers.  Bob Gibson was back in form and he improved to 3-0 on the season.  He gave up only a single run on five hits and two walks with six strikeouts.

The top three hitters in the lineup, Lou Brock, Curt Flood and Roger Maris all had two hits in the game.  Flood drove in two runs and he scored once to account for pretty much all of the Cardinals offense.
