Robins 7, Cardinals 1 (10-13)
The Robins turned the tables on the Cardinals in the second game of their series and blew them out in the process. The Dodgers scored four runs in the top of the first inning, then knocked Cardinal’s starter Sherdel out in the fifth inning with three more runs.
Ray Blades scored the only run of the game for the Cards. He served as a pinch hitter for Jesse Haines in the eighth inning. Les Bell was the only Cardinal with two hits.
