The Cardinals finished their sweep of the Giants and won their sixth straight game with a blowout. The score was actually close (2-1) until the Cards tacked on four runs in the eighth and four runs in the ninth to blow the game open.
Vic Keen picked up the win. He gave up two runs on nine hits and two walks with one strikeout. Ray Blades, Rogers Hornsby and Jim Bottomley all scored twice in the win.
