Cardinals Blown Out In Second Straight Loss

Astros 11, Cardinals 4  (76-46)

Ray Washburn was hammered as the Cardinals dropped their second sraight game.  He fell to 8-6 and he gave up nine runs (seven earned) on eleven hits and three walks with one strikeout in five innings.

Alex Johnson went three for three with a run.  Ed Spiezio belted a two run homer to help out the cause in the losing effort.
