Cardinals Blownout in Third Straight Loss to Giants

Giants 7, Cardinals 2  (53-47)

Grover Alexander was beat up the New York Giants and he gave up three homeruns in the Cardinals third straight loss.  Alexander gave up seven runs on seven hits and three walks with one strikeout.

Jim Bottomley homered in the loss and Specs Toporcer had three singles.  The Cardinals left eleven men on base against the Giants, who only left two on base.
