June 1, 1967 at Busch Stadium
Cardinals 5, Braves 4  (25-16)

Curt Flood singled home the tying run in the bottom of the ninth inning and then Tolan tripled home Gagliano in the bottom of the tenth to win it in extra frames for the Cardinals.  The Cardinals had their share of base runners in this one but they stranded eleven men on base.  Alex Johnson went one for four with two RBIs while Lou Brock went two for four with an RBI.

The pitchers benefited from four double plays in this one and while Ray Washburn didn’t pick up the win, he threw a nice game.  He gave up three runs on seven hits and three walks with five strikeouts in 7 1/3 innings.  Al Jackson threw a shutout tenth and he picked up the win.
