Cardinals Come From Behind to Win Sixth Straight

Cardinals 4, Cubs 3  (74-44)

Alex Johnson singled home Tim McCarver in the bottom of the ninth inning to win it for the Cards as they won their sixth straight game.  McCarver also pitched in with a solo homerun, his tenth of the season, and Orlando Cepeda went two for four with a run and an RBI.

Jack Lamabe picked up the win with a shutout ninth inning.  He walked one and struck out two and the win pushed his record to 2-6 on the season.
