May 28, 1926 at Crosley Field
Reds 12, Cardinals 4  (21-22)

The Cardinals dropped their third straight game with a blowout loss against the Reds.  The Reds turned the tables on the Cardinals and like two games in their previous series in St. Louis, the Reds scored seven runs in the seventh to blow the game open.

Bill Hallahan was hit hard as was Jesse Haines. Douthit went two for five with two runs and Hallahan and Rogers Hornsby both had two hits.
