Cardinals Held to One Hit In Shutout Loss to Braves

Braves 2, Cardinals 0  (20-13)

A pretty good start by Bob Gibson was wasted as the Cardinals were completely shut down by Denny LeMaster.  Gibson gave up two runs on three hits and three walks with eight strikeouts in eight innings.

The lone hit was a Lou Brock single in the third inning.  Phil Gagliano reached base twice with two walks.
