May 14, 1967 at Busch Stadium
Mets 3, Cardinals 1  (15-11)

The Cardinals hitter never could get on track in their 3-1 loss to the Mets. The lone run came on an RBI single by Tim McCarver and while all six hits were by different Cardinals, none of them were for extra bases.

Bob Gibson was hit hard and he left the game early.  He gave up three runs on seven hits and three walks with two strikeouts in 3 2/3 innings.  The loss drops his record to 4-3 on the season.
