Cardinals 12, Phillies 4, (17-18)
This game was actually close for a while before the Cardinals blew the game open in the seventh inning. The Phillies jumped out to an early lead with three runs in the first inning, but by the bottom of the seventh, the Cardinals had tied them up 4-4. Then the Red Birds exploded for seven runs in the seventh inning to put the game away. It was the Cardinal’s fourth win in five games.

Flint Rhem pitched six scoreless innings to close out the game. He gave up four runs on four hits with three walks and four strikeouts.
