Cardinals Shutout, Four Game Winning Streak Comes to an End

Cubs 5, Cardinals 0  (38-29)

The Cardinals dropped the second game of their doubleheader with the Cubs.  Cubs starter Sheriff Blake threw a one hitter and held the Cardinals’ bats in check.  Blake struck out ten Cardinals and walked four.

Hi Bell lasted only six innings and he gave up five runs on seven hits.  He walked one and struck out three.
