The Gas House Gang

The Cardinals are one of the last teams to have their spring debut but the waiting is over as done with because they face the Marlins today.  Of course a lot of the news surrounding the leadup to spring training was the Albert Pujols signing situation and he’ll be one of the Cardinals to see some time.  We’ll also see the debut of Lance Berkman and Matt Holliday should get some swings.

Of course the bad news out of camp is the season ending injury to Adam Wainwright.  I wish him the best in his recovery and it’s going to be tough to replace him out on the mound.  Raul Valdes, who’s going to be fighting for the rotation spot that’s opened up because of Wainwright’s injury gets the start today.
