Cubs Run Up the Score on Vic Keen in Cardinals Loss

Cubs 11, Cardinals 3  (38-30)

The Cardinals were blown out as they headed into an important set of series against the National League’s best.  Vic Keen was shelled and gone without getting a single batter out in the fifth, the inning that the Cubs scored eight of their runs.

The Cardinals scattered three runs on six hits in the game.  Billy Southworth had two hits in the game.
