Curt Flood Scores Three Runs In Cardinals Eighth Straight Win

Cardinals 7, Astros 4  (76-44)

Curt Flood had a huge game in the Cardinals eighth straight win.  He went four for five with an RBI and three runs.  Orlando Cepeda went three for four with a double and an RBI.

Dick Hughes threw all nine innings and he improved to 12-4 with the win.  He gave up four runs on eighth hits and two walks with three strikeouts.  Three of the eight hits in the game off of Hughes went over the fence.
