Dick Hughes Throws Four Hit Shutout In Cardinals Win

Cardinals 2, Giants 0  (78-47)

Dick Hughes improved to 13-4 on the season with another great start.  He gave up just four hits with five strikeouts in the complete game shutout.

Bobby Tolan singled in his only at bat and drove in one of the Yankees two runs.  Tim McCarver singled and scored.
