Dick Hughes Throws Two Hit Shutout in Cardinals Win

Cardinals 5, Braves 0  (21-13)

Dick Hughes threw a two hit shutout as the Cardinals ended their two game mini-skid against the Braves.  He didn’t walk anyone and he struck out nine. 

Curt Flood hit a big three run homer in the win.  Lou Brock went two for four with a solo homerun and two runs scored.  Brock also stole his sixteenth base of the season.
