The Giants blew the Cardinals out in the final game of their four game series. The Cardinals used four pitchers and none of them were particularly effective. Hi Bell took the loss and was only credited with a single inning of work.
Ray Blades scored the only run of the game for the Cardinals. In total, the Red Birds managed only six hits.
