Larry Jaster Throws Four Hit Shutout In Cardinals Third Straight Win

The Cardinals continued to roll behind a four hit shutout by start Larry Jaster.  The left hander improved to 7-5 and he gave up just one hit with five strikeouts in an impressive outing.

The Cardinals scored all five of their runs in the sixth inning.  Lou Brock singled, doubled and he drove in two runs to lead the Cardinals at the plate.  Jaster helped out his own cause with an RBI and a run.
