The Cardinals ended their three game skid with a tight win over the Giants. They were outhit 10-7, but homeruns by Ray Blades and Les Bell powered the Cardinals to a one run lead.
The Giants made a run at Vic Keen in the eighth but couldn’t tie the game up. Keen picked up the win and gave up four runs on ten hits with one strikeout.
