July 30, 1967 at Atlanta Stadium
Cardinals 7, Braves 5  (61-40)

The Cardinals won their fifth straight game behind solid team effort at the plate.  Roger Maris had just one hit but he drove in three runs while Curt Flood went two for four with two RBIs and a run.

Larry Jaster was roughed up for three runs in his start and he didn’t even get through the fourth but the hitters picked him up so he didn’t get a decision.  Ron Willis got a couple batters out and he improved to 3-3 while Joe Hoerner pitched 1 2/3 innings of shutout relief and he picked up his ninth save of the season.
