May 30, 1926 at Wrigley Field
Cardinals 5, Cubs 2  (22-23)

The Cardinals got a change of scenery and in the process, snapped their four game losing streak with a tight win over the Cubs.  The game was tied at 2-2 until the Cardinals scored one in the fifth.  The Cards then opened things up and scored two runs in the eighth to put the game away.

Rogers Hornsby had a huge game.  He went three for four with a homerun and two runs.  Taylor Douthit and Tommy Thevenow both had two hits and a run.  Flint Rhem picked up another win with a solid start.  He gave up only two runs on seven hits with one strikeout.
