August 7, 1926 at Ebbets Field

Cardinals 3, Robins 0  (58-48)

The Cardinals won their fifth straight game behind a very strong outing by Grover Alexander.  Alexander gave up only four hits without a single walk in the shutout, and he struck out one.

The Cardinals managed only five hits, but they also drew five walks.  There were no real standouts as all five hits and all three runs were scored by different players.
